The chief feature of the game played between Long Eaton Primitives was the batting display of Reg Marriott.

His Inningswas worked with goog clean vigourous hitting and he knocked up 57 runs including 7 fours before being caught.

Mention must also be made of L Fulwood who contributed 21 runs and took 4 fo 12 with the ball.

The men from across the river were dismissed for the small total of 41, the Prims knocking up ,123 for 8 wickets.
