They crossed on the ferry and weaseled out Thrumpton for a measly 25 runs.

W Hynds took 6 wickets and the infamous reverend E Coc who had always troubled Thrumpton took the other 4.

The interesting fact for Thrumpton was for the first time there was a J Thrumpton playing for Thrumpton. Batting at 11 he was unbeaten on one run
