Dave is the Dad of 1st team Captain, Nick. His other Son, Adam also played for the Badgers in the late 80's and 90's. He also has a daughter Charlotte and wife Mary.

I had the pleasure of playing many games for the Badgers with Dave and he was a fantastic team mate both on and off the pitch.

He had a typical Yorkshire sense of humour who gave as good as he got.

He was a rare breed of a player who never went to winter nets, but come April he would immediately find his line and length when bowling, as well as the middle of the bat when he was called upon to get quick fire runs.

Over the last year the club have lost some true Badger Legends... Dave is another one.

The whole club send their Love to Mary, Adam, Nick, Charlotte and the whole family.....
