Thrumpton's U15 team travelled to Egerton Park for their last game of the 2025 season and last U15 game for Joshua James, Toby Gower, Max Phillips and Tom Barrett.

The team included two sets of siblings; Olivia and Reggie Small and Ben and Emily Park which is a great cause of celebration.

That celebration seemed to continue into the game as our Junior Badgers bowled Egerton Park out for 135 in 18.5 overs. Highlights included a wicket for Reggie Small on his first delivery in U15 cricket, taking 2-28 in his 3 overs, and an excellent catch for Emily Parks in the covers in her first game. Toby Gower (2-10), Tom Barrett (2-9) and Max Phillips (1-17) were also among the wickets with run outs from Olivia Small and Joshua James.

However hopes of a victory were dashed as we lost our 4 experienced top order batsmen for a total of 2 runs scored, leaving Luca Jeffrey (also a debutant) and Oliver James as our top scorers with 11 and 5 respectively.
