Under 13's Bowlers Do The Damage

With main coach Mark Sampson away on holiday Mark Priestley took charge for the Under 13's longest trip of the season, away at Market Overton.

Market Overton batted first and after a slow but steady start the Thrumpton bowlers took a real stranglehold over their opposition!

Wicket fell at regular intervals with Finn Manners being the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 wickets without conceding a run from his 2 overs.

Ben Gill took 2 for 11 from 4 overs and Jacob Taylor had 2 for 12 from his 4 overs. Zoe Howick, Blaine Grewcock and Joe Bailey also all picked up wickets.

Market Overton we eventually bowled out for just 38 in 18.3 overs.

In reply some wayward bowling saw Thrumpton get off to a flyer although they did lose Joe Bailey for 2 and Max Baker for 1.

Lewis Wales however finished the game quickly with a couple of boundaries with the Badger finishing on 42 for 2 from just 8.2 overs.
