Thrumpton 1900-1919 11 of 19

11. 1908

There are no Thrumpton records to be found.

A report in the deanery magazine in 1909 shows that the club were reformed. The report reads,

After a considerable interval, Thrumpton Cricket Club has revived, and has been taken up with enthusiasm by the young men in the place.

Hitherto, it has not been successful in its matches, but the eleven show promise of improvement, and in the meantime a few defeats are a useful discipline.

The last recorded game before this was against Nottingham Post Office in July 1905
