A date of June 12th was set for the Presidents XI match in 1988. It was arranged that the Presentation dinner would be held at Grange Farm Toton and a date of February 29th was decided upon..

Trevor Vennett Smith outlined the rule changes in the South Notts Village League and explained how the bonus points system worked.

In the Any Other Business section Ivan Adkin recommended that a letter be sent to Andy Pick congratulating him on his outstanding season playing for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. Also that the toilets on the ground be cleared more often as all the ground crews did not take their turns to do this when it was their turn to do ground week. . Also discussed was that the covers needed repairing as the wicket was in a much better condition when they were used.

Anyone wanting to order Caps, Badges and Ties to let Ivan know.

The meeting closed at 9pm with a vote of thanks was given to Mr Seymour for his continued support and interest in the club.
