Rosemary Nest Seymour 1922 - 2017

Rosemary Seymour, our President died peacefully at her home on 28th May 2017.

She became President of Thrumpton Cricket Club in 1984 following the death of her husband.

Rosemary came to live in Thrumpton from her home at Chirk Castle during the 1940s after her marriage to George Fitzroy Seymour, eventually making Thrumpton Hall her home.

She loved village life and particularly enjoyed her long association with the Cricket Club.

Rosemary was not a figurehead President, but was very much involved in the life of the Club enjoying watching the cricket while enjoying a glass of wine.

We will miss her, especially at our Presentation Evenings.
