A general meeting was held in the village hall on October 21st in the presence of 21 members. The meeting opened with the President asking the Secretary to read out the minutes of the last general meeting.

The treasurers book was then passed round to all members to see the income and expenses for the year afterwards.

The averages were then read out, Mr R Pick headed the batting again scoring over 1000 runs. He also won the bowling and catches by Mr G Blatherwick..

It was decided to pay Mr G Seymour £100 towards money the club still owed him.. The cricket supper was again decided to be held. Mr and Mrs Hickling, Mr N Shaw and Mr A Butler to arrange the matter. Mr and Mrs Seymour and Mra nd Mrs Culley were invited to be guests at the supper.

All playing members present were asked to get as soon as possible to help with work on the ground.

The Christmas prize draw was discussed and it was left to Mr G Shaw to organise with the help of other members. A vote of thanks was held to thank Mr G Seymour for attending the meeting and also to Mrs L Pick for doing the scoring.
