A general meeting was held in the school room on Wednesday March 20th 1962 in the presence of 12 members. The meeting opened with the minutes of the last general meeting by the Secretary. These together with the accounts showed a balance in hand of 23 pounds 12 shillings and 10 pence, a loss of 3 pound on the previous year. This was due to the fact that a lot of items for the 1961 season had already been paid for.

The averages for the 1960 season were then read. Mr A Butler topped the batting, Mr J Stokes the bowling and Mr Pepper the catching.

The club on the whole did not have a very good season, the bowling was good but the batting was poor. The officials were then read, Mr A Butler taking over the captains role from Mr R Priestley. Mr C Towers was elected vice captain and elected to the committee in place of Mr S Shaw. Mr Stevenson took over as groundsman.

It was also passed at the meetingto make Mr J Eaton as a honorary member of the Vice Presidents list for his good work for the club on the running of the football sweep.

In the absence of the Club President Mr C Towers took the chair. At the end of the meeting the cups were presentedto the top of the averages. Also a vote of thanks to Mrs N Smith for her good work in scoring.
