16. May 21 The cap comes home for the weekend

Seeing that Mark Priestley had been selected for the 1st team the cap could not resist any longer and flew in secretly to watch a blast from the past.

Having just left Niagara Falls the cap was moving on in his next escapade to where we do not know. He arrived back unannounced lunchtime Thursday

So far he has been to Argentina and umpired a top class game before moving on to the Cayman Isles for a session with the countries top cricketing coach and got into trouble with an Iguana. From there he moved on to Philadelphia before moving on to Niagara Falls

Worried about the weather we have been having he nipped in for a chat with top weather girl Anna Church to see if there would be any change and asked would the game be on.

No problem, its going to be very cold with a strong north easterly wind but I am glad to say there will be no rain

What about the week ahead with the Under 12's playing their first game in hardball cricket on Wednesday?

That will definitely be the best day of the week with plenty of sun

With the taxman umpiring the 2nds at Lambley the cap arrived to watch the game and his hero knowing that he would not be returned to the sweaty cricket bag. He left the country late Sunday afternoon on a flight back across the Atlantic destination unknown
